A .Theology is the study of the existence, nature, powers, and laws of God. This also includes man’s relationship to God, the science of religion and study of divinity. Theology may relate to a particular system and set of beliefs relating to God. Being a follower of Jesus Christ, the theology of MyBibleBasics focuses on the completeness of the Holy Bible as being God’s word for mankind. We see the Old Testament as the Foundation of our Faith. The Gospels and the Life of Jesus as God’s only Son, and the letters as the power of the Holy Spirit being with the early Apostles of Jesus. Our theology is centered on the Trinity; One God, having one Son Jesus, who left the power of the Holy Spirit to dwell daily in followers of Jesus. We advance simple theology centered upon four Comes:

Come Down – John 1 -God sent his son, Jesus to dwell among us the God word, (logos)

Come Follow – Matthew 5 – Jesus calls his disciples to Come follow and learn

Come Live – John 10:10b – As we become disciples we have an abundant life

Come Home – John 14 – In the Upper Room before his death; Jesus shares "in my Father's house there are many mansions"; Jesus is going to prepare a place for us!
